What is HoverAid?

HoverAid is a small charity with one big idea – that hovercraft can be used to overcome the very basic problem of travel to and from certain remote rural communities.

Lack of access stops Governments, Development Organisations, NGO's, and Missions helping communities to develop.

It stops communities accessing markets and services that could help them develop themselves; and it stops individuals accessing vital health and education services which could quite simply save lives.

At HoverAid we don’t think this makes sense – it is hard enough being amongst the majority poor on this planet without then being consistently overlooked whenever help is available, because you are simply too difficult to get to, unreachable.
